Hi everyone, welcome to my fitness blog! My name is Laura and I started my fitness journey around twelve years ago. At the time I was weighing in around 214 pounds and wanted to make a healthier lifestyle change for myself. I started by hiring a personal trainer and putting in hard work, which has paid off immensely over the years. I feel better than ever both mentally and physically which is more than anyone could ask for.
My goals now focus around helping women get healthier and encouraging them to make sustainable changes in their lives. I have done it myself so I know how challenging it can be, but the reward is worth the hard work and dedication. I hope to help other women fall in love with the process the same way I have over these past twelve years. Loving the journey is the most important part to sustaining the success.
I am a certified fitness nutrition specialist and enjoy making healthy options convenient and accessible. I love sharing recipes and dishes that I both enjoy and can feel good about eating with others to show them that nutrition is not one size fits all. Meal prepping and planning always help set me up for success and my goal is to set others up for success also. Showing women how to prepare for their success is crucial in making the journey more manageable and seamless, as I have learned first hand.
I am the kind of person that likes to stay busy and motivated but I have a full and fulfilling life outside of fitness. I also work full time managing a retail store, I am a wife, and I am a grandmother. I value my family and friends and love connecting with other like-minded people. I hope that people can feel comfortable coming to me to help guide them through a journey that can seem scary and difficult at first.
My ultimate goal is to inspire women and show them that these are attainable goals that they can reach. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication but with someone on the sidelines cheering you on, anything is possible. I hope that my story resonates with someone and inspires them to start their journey. I can only hope that you allow me to help you along your journey and to guide you and cheer you on along the way.
