Chelsea Klein has been training with me since the end of her 8th grade season.  She demonstrates the drive and dedication it takes to excel on and off the court.  Her first goals were to jump higher and make varsity her freshman year.  She started every game for varsity while averaging 13.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.   She was selected to the All Tournament Team in both the Piasa Tournament and the Lebanon Holiday Tournament.  She also made All-Conference.

Entering her sophomore season, Chelsea wanted to continue to increase her strength, speed and vertical jump while improving her team’s performance.  The stats (above) were taken just prior to the season starting.  Her coach, Tim Moore said “She became a better practice player  that  made other players step up their hustle and work ethic in practices and games.”  “She led the conference in scoring and rebounding and that was largely because of her improvements in strength and conditioning.”  She averaged 17.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2 blocks with 46 three point shots made this season.  She was named the Piasa Tournament MVP, selected to the All-Tournament Team in the Lebanon Tournament and was the STL Post dispatch player of the week.  She also made the All-Conference and All-State teams this season.

“I have increased muscle, strength and endurance.  It has helped by making me a better basketball player.  Since I am able to jump higher, I rebound better.  Since I’m faster, I can play better defense.  Since my arms and legs are stronger, I can shoot better.”                          ~ Chelsea Klein

“I have noticed on the court that Chelsea has become stronger, quicker, more physical basketball player.  Off the court, I admire the maturity and the self-discipline she shows.  Chelsea always follows her nutrition plan and never misses a workout despite her busy schedule.”          ~ Kerrie Klein (Mother)
